While I was solo auditing, feet discomfort would interfere with my auditing. The heater would make one side of my feet hot, while the other side was cold.
I tried blankets, cotton socks, cashmere socks, but anything in contact with my feet affected the meter adversely.
If I got the space warm enough for my feet to be comfortable, my body would often overheat and that would cause my hands to sweat.
I have always been a problem solver and so after a bit of creative thought I came up with the idea of creating a dome that would hold the heat around my feet, giving an even warming environment.
When I put this idea into effect, I found the dome would hold the heat well and that I could maintain the warmth with the heater set on low. This created a perfect environment for my auditing. Hand-sweating reduced, my feet were warm, and I could put my full attention on the session.

I played with the idea of making the heat hut so that it was easily portable, and others could use it in their sessions. One day, a workable concept came to me, and I spent a few hours drawing it. The next step was a protype.
I order some materials, studied the tech on how I could create the parts I needed and with some crude tools, crafted my first Heat Hut. I made a second one for my wife.
